The indoctrinated human mind is as blind as a bat; the proof.
In late March 1891, about 2,400 years after Pythagoras proposed his theorem, Albert Einstein, at that time just 12-years and a few days old, noted the following obvious fact.
This diagram shows Pythagoras' so-called "theorem" to be an utterly trivial fact. Our mathematicians are definitely not stupid. Therefore, we simply must explain how they could all have been blind to this trivial fact for 2,400 years. However, given that this is true, irrespective of any logical explanation for it, mathematicians tend to be the brightest of us. Therefore; we must conclude that all indoctrinated human minds (in this case, indoctrinated "mathematicians") must have a pathological tendency towards being as blind as a bat. We are often aware of foolishness in others, but we must by definition be systematically blind to our own.

For those slightly less quick on the uptake; any similar two-dimensional shape bears a constant of proportionality between the square of any invariant linear feature of it and its area. We do not need to know what that constant of proportionality is. Notice that a, b and c are respectively the hypotenuse of the similar right-angle triangles A, B and C. Therefore, the relationship that a-squared plus b-squared is the same as c-squared is a trivial consequence of the above self-evident geometry.
Footnote 2: Within an insane and delusional world, our mathematicians are sane beyond measure, but even they are found to be completely "away with the mixer". Human conceits, particularly in the field of money and banking, but also in any kind of politics, are so absurd as to not even be worth laughing about in any polite intelligent conversation. However, the soft underbelly of all of post-1879 (death of Maxwell) human conceit was found to lie within the strange subject of relativity. So, it is not only our banking, debt and so-called "money" so-called "settlement" systems and the absurd political delusions that those can finance for the span of a 79-year-old Ponzi scheme (post 1944), that are nothing but pathetic transient conceits, even the so-called scientific understanding was found to be nothing more than an absurd load of nonsense. On maths' and science, the so-called "human", so called "race", scores 1/10, grade F for fail. They should try something that they might actually succeed at, because as real-scientific-men and real-scientific-women, since Katherine Mary Clerk Maxwell died on them in 1886, only a tiny handful of quantum-physicists can even be considered.
